mcp 0.5.0 vs 0.4.8 - did tool execution get slower or is it just my setup
upgraded from 0.4.8 to 0.5.0 yesterday and tool execution feels way slower. simple echo tool went from ~80ms to ~190ms overhead. anyone else seeing this or did i break something in my config? running on ubuntu 22.04 with node 20.11

probly just your setup tbh. i benchmarked 0.5.0 vs 0.4.8 yesterday with a simple echo tool and got nearly identical latency (122ms vs 118ms). what tools are you running and whats the host setup

what are you measuring latency on? i get way higher overhead on 0.5.0 for anything that does schema validation. like 290ms on a json parser tool vs 95ms on 0.4.8
