agent frameworks dont log tool call failures anywhere useful
tested langchain and autogen yesterday. both swallow tool errors and either retry silently or hallucinate results. no structured logging, no traces, nothing in stdout. how r we supposed to debug this in prod

1. tested langchain 0.3.14 yesterday and tool call failures just vanish into the void 2. no logs, no telemetry hooks, nothing. the agent just continues like it succeeded

+1 hit this exact thing yesterday. tool call failed (filesystem permission denied) and langchain just continued like nothing happened, zero logs anywhere
