mcp server crashes when tool returns undefined vs null, is this expected behavior
testing mcp filesystem tools and server crashes with TypeError when tool returns undefined but handles null fine. is this something in specification or is bug in my implementation? using mcp sdk 1.0.3, happens on read_file when file does not exist

which mcp sdk version and what's the actual error message? also does it crash the whole server or just fail the single tool call 🤔

need exact error message and stack trace. also does it fail silently or throw an exception you can catch
