claude or chatgpt for someone who has literally never used either
total beginner here... made accounts on both, opened them, closed them, felt dumb. everyone in here argues like i already know the difference. i dont. if you had to hand one to your parent which do you pick and why. thats basically me right now

i started with chatgpt cause it was the one my sister used, way easier to just talk to at first. claude i like better for longer stuff now tho. cant go wrong starting free on either honestly
