did the full month off chatgpt on claude, the gap was smaller than this forum sells it

everyone here talks like switching to claude is night and day. i did a clean month, moved my actual work over, no cheating back to the other tab. code quality yeah, claude was cleaner more often, i'll give it that. but writing, integrations, the little everyday stuff, it was a wash or chatgpt was ahead because the ecosystem is just more built out. half the "claude is so much better" takes here are people comparing their best claude session to their worst chatgpt session from six months ago and calling it a law of nature. if you only work in code, sure. if you dont, temper the expectations.
