how do you use ai at work without leaking company stuff
genuine question. i want to start using this for real work tasks but a lot of our docs have client info in them. is pasting that stuff in basically a fireable mistake or is there a safe way to do it. what do you all actually do at your jobs

the honest answer is you dont paste the real thing, you paste a version with the names and numbers stripped out. took me a while to build that habit but now i redact before anything goes in, treat every model like it might get read by a human somewhere, because occasionally it does. turning training off helps but it doesnt change that you sent the data to someone elses computer.
