is Claude actually better than ChatGPT or do people just say that here

finally signed up after everyone at work wouldnt shut up about Claude. tried Sonnet 5 for a couple emails and it did sound less robotic than ChatGPT ngl. but is that just a claude forum thing or is it real. what do you actually use each one for
