claude code eats my whole pro limit before lunch, how do you make it last a day
backend guy, 15 years, got pulled into this last year so bear with me. i open claude code around 9, do maybe two decent refactors and by 11 im locked out. is everyone just on max, or is there trick to make it not re-read the whole repo every turn? in my company we tried scoping it to one folder and result was little better but not so good). do you clear context often or something

same, gone before noon. what helped a bit was stopping it from re-reading the whole repo every message, it was burning tokens just reloading files it already saw. still hit the wall some days tho

learn the boring one first honestly, just writing good prompts. everyone jumps to agents and mcp but 90% of my wins were just being specific and giving one example
