how do i make claude stop making stuff up.... it gave me a fake link
used it to find a tutorial yesterday and it gave me a link that doesn't exist.... is there a setting or do they all just lie sometimes

you cant really stop it completely imo.... all of them make stuff up sometimes. you just have to check anything important before you trust it. if it gives you a link always click it to make sure its real

the fake link thing got me too. now i just assume every link is made up until i actually click it

the click every link thing is real... it gave me a doc url that 404'd and i felt insane for a second. do the paid tiers do this less or is it every model no matter what you pay
